FedEx supplied COVID-19 relief aid to India

To ship tonnes of medical supplies and relief supplies to India over the next few days and weeks

FedEx is currently supporting the transportation of more than 25,000 oxygen concentrators and transducers through initiatives with the US India Strategic Partnership Forum and other multinational corporations. As part of this joint effort, FedEx delivered the first 1000 critical oxygen concentrators to New Delhi on April 30.

On May 8th, FedEx has offered a FedEx Boeing 777F charter flight with more than 3,400 oxygen concentrators and converters, nearly 265,000 KN95 masks for direct relief, and Newark, NJ to Mumbai, India. The supplies are being delivered to a medical facility in Mumbai. 

In addition, FedEx will work with customers and nonprofits to ship hundreds of tonnes of medical supplies and relief supplies to India over the next few days and weeks.

FedEx is also a founding member of the Pandemic Global Task Force. This is a public-private partnership organized by the American Chamber of Commerce and backed by a business roundtable to mobilize and deploy resources to support companies' efforts to address COVID-19 in the most needed regions of the world. Provides a platform. FedEx President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Raj Subramaniam is one of the 17 business leaders on the Task Force's Steering Committee.
